How to become a Messianic Hebrew

First a little information.

What we the Orthodox Messianic Hebrews believe in:

First and foremost, We believe in The Father Yahuah, The Son, Yahusha, and the Holy Spirit, Yahmalakhim. Elohim is one.  Yahuah is the father/ creator of everything.  Yahusha is the only begotten Son of Yahuah, Yahusha is the "Seed of Yahuah". Yahusha is one to be acknowledged as the Son of Yahuah, The Messiah the Savor of all who believe in him and does his will.  The Holy Spirit, Yahmalakhim, is the comforter who is here today to give comfort to those who follow the Teachings of the One True Elohim.  We believe that Yahusha was sent unto the World to set an example as to the way we are to live and worship, and to become the ultimate Pass Over sacrifice for the sins of the world to those who call upon His Name to ask for forgiveness.  We believe that He is able to deliver on what He said He could, and would. Yahusha said that He was not "good" but only "The Father was Good".  We are to pray to Yahuah and Yahusha will interpret it to Him. We are only to ask these things in the Name of the Son, not to pray to the Son but to Yahuah as Yahusha did.  We are to be Baptized in the Name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy spirit, for remission of sin.  The Orthodox believe that we are subject to the Laws of Yahuah as well as under grace.  We are subject to the Laws of Yahuah as much today as we were when they were given to Moses.  We also believe that we are under the Grace of Yahuah, today.  We believe that we are to follow the Laws of Yahuah as did Yahusha.  Yahusha said in Matthew 5:17 -19 He did not come to do away with the Law and that the Law would remain in effect until Heaven and earth has passed away, and seeing that Earth is still here we must still be subject to the Law.  We believe that we are saved by calling upon the name of the Son and asking for forgiveness then as soon as possible being Baptized, if male and uncircumcised then he should be circumcised as soon as posiable, and following Yahuah Laws and the teachings of Yahusha.

When shall we be saved?  When we are in danger of being condemned into eternal death, when we stand before Yahuah and we have followed the teachings of Yahusha and have believed in Him He shall say to Yahuah this person is covered by my blood and I bare his transgressions, this person/ soul/ spirit, is mine.  At this time we are saved.  Up to the time of death we have and have always had freedom of choice to chose to do good or to do evil.   As long as we are alive we will have that choice.  Once we die and our book is closed out fate is sealed.   Either people have lived for Yahuah or for HaSatan.  People follow one or the other not both.

Should you decide to join us, what to expect from Family and Friends and the General Public.

The first thing you will experience from Family and friends is surprise, followed closed by trying to talk you out of this decision.  Should they fail to talk you out of the decision then comes rejection from family and friends.  You will not be accepted by most of the Christian Community nor the Jewish Community.  You will be called everything from "Christ Killer" to "Satan worshiper" to "O'cultist".  You will be shunned, hated, and persecuted be cause of your beliefs in Yahusha.  You will become "Set Apart".

Why should I join this faith?

Personally, I can't think of a good reason except to follow the teachings of Yahuah and His Son Yahusha.  There are a lot more reasons not to join than there are to do so.  To join with us is to invite persecution into you life.  I, personally, highly recommend if you are satisfied with the teachings of your church or synagogue stay there, do not join with us.

Do I have to join for a definite period of time?

The answer to that question is Yes and No.  Once you become a Messianic Hebrew you will always be a Messianic Hebrew.  You may choice to practice or not that choice is your and your alone.  As for belonging to a Messianic Hebrew Congregation, you are free to join you are free to leave at any time.  Should you chose to leave  a congregation you will not even be asked not to.  You may be asked why, however you do not need to answer that question if you don't want to.  It is just to learn if some one has said or done something to you to make you want to leave.  If we don't know what the problem is we can not correct it, if it is a problem with in the congregation.

What will I be asked to give up?

On one hand, not much.  On the other hand, perhaps a great deal.  Double talk? No.  The question just has no simple answer.  To some they will be giving up a great deal and to others they won't be giving up much at all.  It depends mainly on how you live your life now.  Listed below are a few things you should know before considering to join.

Things to know:

You will be expected to stop celebrating the Pagan Holidays some of which are: Sunday, Saint Valentines Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Lent, Ash Wednesday, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

Males over the age of 13 are required to keep their head covered at all times. (see head coverings) unless it interferes with them doing their job for which they are hired to do. Also males are required not to shave or cut their beards in any way unless it would interfere with their safety on their job; at which time they should seek employment where it would not interfere with their job. DO NOT QUITE THE OLD JOB UNTIL A NEW ONE HAS BEEN SECURED !

All members are expected to dress modestly. (see dress code)

Everything you receive:  Includes each day of your life.  In other words 24 hours every day.  Tithing of that is 2.4 hours per day or 16.8 hours per week.  On Sabbath you should give at least 12 hours (sun up to sun set, not a hour by the clock).  That leaves 4.8 hours to use for Yahuah during the rest of the week.  This is a minimum requirement, not the maximum.  Everything you receive also includes that of which you receive anything of value.  Paying cash is considered the easy way out so if you fail to give Yahuah his appropriate time you may figure the time you did not give at 1.5 times your regular job pay per hour and send that to the Congregation, or to the above address.  Once the main Head Quarters is built it is preferable that each congregation or person send goods in stead of money except for those thing for which you receive money as payment then the ten percent (10%) is expected.  For farmers and ranchers, Livestock, (Cattle, Horses, Goats, Sheep) from every female that gives birth for the first time and gives birth to a male that male shall be sent to the main headquarters once it is built.  Plus one out of every ten from the rest of the herds.  For poultry you are expceted to give the first male hatched from a hatching plus  Ten percent (10%) of the rest of the hatching.  Ten percent (10%) of all grain and Hay you produce should also be sent to the main Headquarters.  Ten percent (10%) of all Berries, Fruit, Garden produce, Field produce, and nuts should be sent to the main headquarters.  (Notice should the main headquarters be so far away that fresh produce would be spoiled before it can reach the main headquarters sell it and send the cash to the main headquarters.)
