What is a Messianic Hebrew

First what Messianic Hebrews are not!
We are not Christians.
We are not Pagans.
We are not Idol Worshipers.
We are not an occult.

What are Messianic Hebrews:

First like every orginized religion which holds religious services in an orginized manner we and they are cults.  We are very much like The Jews of today in that we keep The Yahuah's Commanded Sabbaths.  We keep all of Laws of Yahuah that we can keep without The Temple being in existence.  We are Torah Observant but are not necessarily Rabbinic Observant.  There are among us different groups like there are among the Jews and Christians.  The Jews are divided into five groups and they are: The Hasidim (Ultra-Orthodox), The Orthodox, The Conservative, The Reformed, and The Reconstruction's.  For the most part The Reformed, and The Reconstruction's have merged into one group now.  The Christians have: Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Mormon, Pentecostals, Seven Day Adventist, and such just to name a few.

Among The Messianic Hebrew there are those who believe that Yahusha is The Only Begotten Son of The Almighty, Yahuah, but that He is not Yahuah.  Hence, Yahuah, Yahusha, and Yahmalakhim, The Holy Spirit, three different Beings within one accord, one though, one mind, one way.   These are refered to as Orthodox Messianic Hebrews.  Then there are those who believe that Yahusha is Yahuah.  Hence, El The Father, El The Son, and El The Holy Spirit, three different Beings within One Eloim.  These are refered to as Conservative Messianic Hebrews.  Then there are those who say they are Messianic Jews or Messianic Hebrews that believe that the Law has been done away with.  These are Reformed Messianic Hebrews.  The one thing they do have in common is the belief that Yahusha is the Son of Yahuah.

Why do we believe that Yahuah's Law is still in effect?

In Matthew 5:17 - 20 Yahusha said "17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (fulfil here means to obey)
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

Why do we follow the Laws?  Because in Matthew 5:13
Yahusha said, "13 You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted?  It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 You are the light of the world.  A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

For the most part we all agree that we all can and do sin.  We read in 1 John 3:4 ". . ., sin is the transgression of the law."  If we can sin and sin is transgression of the law then we must still have the law and must obey it.  For if the law has been done away with, or relpaced then we can no longer sin because sin is the transgression of the law.

The Messianic Hebrews are more than just Jews who believe that Yahusha is the Messiah.  We are Jews and Non-Jews.  We represent all twelve tribes of Israel and non-Israelites.  The twelve tribes of Israel are: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.  The tribe of Joseph was by his father Jacob (Yahisrael) Adopted and subdivided into two more tribes referred to as "Half Tribes".  They are Manasseh and Ephraim.  The Jews as we know them today are, for the most part, made up of the tribes of: Judah, Benjamin, and a small part of the Levi.  The so called "Lost tribes" are made up of Reuben, Simeon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and a large part of the Levi.  These so called "Lost tribes" were known as "The House of Israel" and sense the carrying away of the House of Israel they have become assimilated into the populations of the world.

How can we find the "Lost Tribes" today?  We can't for sure.  However, Yahuah knows where each and every one of these people are, and who each one of these people are.  Many believe that Yahuah is calling these people out from the rest of the nations today.  Should one look at the prophecies spoken of each of the tribes of Israel by Jacob we can determine in some respect who these so called "Lost Tribes" are today.  Such as Manasseh and Ephraim.  Where Jacob said, he, Manasseh, also shall become a people, and he, Manasseh, also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, Ephraim, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.  As in birth Ephraim followed Manasseh later Ephraim seed followed Manasseh.  Manasseh being the older and Ephraim being the younger but both being from the same mother.  The United States is younger than England.  England is a great Nation.  The United States is a Greater Nation and is made up of a multitude of nations.  So by following this, one can come to the conclusion that England is the seed of Manasseh and the United States is the seed of Ephraim, of course there is no way to prove or disprove this theory, it is just a matter of belief.  Yahuah knows for sure.

This is where Jacob blessed Manasseh and Ephraim in Genesis 18:17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.
18 And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
20 And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, Yahuah make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

This is where Jacob told each Tribe what they would be like. Read

Gen. 49:1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, you sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
3 Reuben, you art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
4 Unstable as water, you shall not excel; because you went up to thy father's bed; then you defiled it: he went up to my couch.
5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
6 O my soul, come not you into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honor, be not you united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they dug down a wall.
7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
8 Judah, you art he whom thy brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father's children shall bow down before you.
9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, you art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
13 Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.
14 Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:
15 And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
18 I have waited for thy salvation, El.
19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.
21 Naphtali is a hind let loose: he gives goodly words.
22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of mighty Yahuah of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
25 Even by Yahuah thy father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lie under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
27 Benjamin shall ravine as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.
28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spoke unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.
